PC-NL (Professionals' Counselling with Neuro-Linguistic programming)

We are proud to announce for the first time during our ESD meeting in Cape Town a seminar-workshop aimed at all professionals attending the conference.

Career and career progress is highly affected by stress and anxiety. So is work-life balance. Delegates usually attend conferences to enhance their knowledge and to network. However, we want them to take home more than that. We want them to take home something lasting and useful. And what can be more useful for the busy professional than getting the work-life balance right? Or at least get some tools at hand to work on it.

With this in mind, we offer this workshop to all participants of the conference, doctors or not.

Neurolinguistic programming (NLP) and hypnotherapy include methods using human neurophysiology. Worldwide, institutions in medicine, media, business and politics have used these methods to achieve their specific goals.

At the end of this seminar-workshop participants will not only leave relaxed but also with:

  • tools to overcome stress and increase success
  • increased confidence in day-to-day challenges at work
  • increased confidence in presentations and meetings.

The seminar will be given by Dr. Saima Salahuddin who is a UK trained General Practitioner (Family physician), and a Master Practitioner & Trainer in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnotherapy. She is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP).

She started her career in Tuberculosis and Urolithiasis research at the Aga Khan University in Karachi/ Pakistan and at Erasmus Medical University in Rotterdam/ The Netherlands. Currently, she is practising General Medicine in the UK and Australia. Her recent interest has focussed on holistic health care, NLP being an integrated part of this. She is accredited by ANLP (UK) and ABNLP (USA).
